Death of Innocence is about a young boy named Emmett Till. Emmett till was lynched by white men after allegedly whistling at a white woman. This story, by his mother, Mamie Till-Mobley, shows how Till-Mobley mobilized Emmett's death in order to make sure that no other black mother would have to go through what she went through.
